About the Program
The Master the Qur’an Program by ALFP is a comprehensive one-year program designed for young learners to build a strong and lasting relationship with the Qur’an while developing essential Islamic knowledge. The program takes children on a structured journey that combines Qur’an reading and recitation, memorization, Hadith, and foundational Fiqh, providing them with the knowledge and skills they need to grow as confident young Muslims.
The journey begins with the classic Noorul Bayan methodology, known for its simplicity and effectiveness in teaching children how to read the Qur’an accurately. Through a clear, step-by-step approach, children learn to recognize Arabic letters, pronounce them correctly, and progress naturally toward reading words and verses with confidence. As their recitation develops, they are guided into Qur’an memorization in a structured and manageable way, allowing them to build consistency while nurturing love and attachment to the Book of Allah.
Beyond Qur’an reading and memorization, the program introduces learners to selected Hadith and foundational Fiqh, helping them understand important Islamic teachings, manners, acts of worship, and everyday practices. These subjects are taught in an age-appropriate and practical manner, allowing children to connect what they learn with their daily lives and develop a stronger understanding of their faith.
At ALFP, our aim is not only to teach children how to read and memorize the Qur’an, but to nurture a lifelong connection with the Qur’an and develop a strong foundation in Islamic knowledge. Our instructors follow a calm, encouraging, and supportive approach that makes learning enjoyable while maintaining accuracy, discipline, and consistency. The program accommodates children at different levels, allowing each learner to progress according to their abilities.
Over the course of one year, children are guided through a balanced learning experience that brings together Qur’an recitation, memorization, Hadith, and Fiqh. By the end of the program, learners will have developed stronger Qur’anic reading skills, made meaningful progress in memorization, and gained foundational knowledge that can support their continued journey in Qur’an, Arabic, and Islamic studies, in shaa Allah.
Private Class
This program is offered in a one-on-one format, where the child learns individually with the teacher and moves at a pace suited to their ability and time availability. Unlike the group sessions, the lessons here are personalized, and the student progresses through the syllabus based on their own learning speed.
